About the App

The application offers digitally designed routes that can be completed by car, by bicycle, or on foot – at your own pace and time. It also allows you to take part in the Baltic region’s largest and most experienced hiking series, The Latvijas Izaicinajums, which is taking place for the seventh year. The event gathers thousands of enthusiasts who want to discover Latvian nature and cultural heritage from a new perspective, while also expanding their hiking experience in Lithuania and Estonia.

The app will help you follow your chosen route, complete tasks, answer questions, and earn rewards.

Registration is required to ensure a full experience and to keep you informed about important route updates — for example, if:
- the trail is closed during the bird nesting season,
- a section is flooded or difficult to pass,
- a bridge or other infrastructure is damaged,
- a task or checkpoint is changed,
- other significant natural or organizational changes occur.

Your account also allows you to save your progress, earn rewards, and take part in the overall ranking.

1. Open the app and tap the “Register” button.
2. Enter your email address and create a password.
3. Tap “Register” again.
4. A new window will open – enter your name.
5. Tap “Register” one last time to complete your account setup.

Main Prize

One of three ROVER gift cards worth 500, 1000, or 2000 EUR.

To qualify for the Latvian Challenge 2026 grand prize draw, you must complete 9 routes in Latvia (any distance) by October 30, 2026, finish the final hike in Riga on October 31, and be present at the time of the draw at the end of the hike.

* If you have enough motivation and energy, you can complete all three distances in each route, but only one route will be counted.

By completing all **Latvijas Izaicinājums** routes, you’ll encounter various types of checkpoints. Some are more valuable than others, so it’s worth paying attention to them:

The app will offer some free routes that allow you to get familiar with its features — following the route, completing tasks, and discovering the surroundings in a new way.

The full selection will be available to registered users and will include paid routes, various route packages, and individually purchasable routes.
