Personal Data Processing Activities

For distance purchases of digital routes

Required data
Data types	Name, surname, date of birth, phone numbers, email address, payment information, other information provided by the client.
Purpose of personal data processing	Payment processing is provided by the payment platform makecommerce.lv, therefore our company shares the necessary personal data for payment execution with the platform owner Maksekeskus AS.
Legal basis for data processing	Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation (processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party); Article 9(2)(a) of the Regulation (the data subject has given explicit consent to the processing of those personal data for one or more specified purposes); In certain cases, Article 6(1)(f) of the Regulation (processing is necessary for the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or a third party).

Circulation of contracts, correspondence, complaints/claims and accounting documents

Purpose of personal data processing	For capturing the adventure as well as publicity purposes, reflecting the services offered by ROVER Latvia on social networks (Facebook and Instagram).
Legal basis for data processing	Article 6(1)(a) (the data subject has given consent to the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes).

This list of data processing purposes in this Privacy Notice is not exhaustive; personal data of natural persons may be processed also for other purposes not mentioned herein.

Sources of personal data collection by ROVER Latvia

We may obtain your personal data directly from you, for example, through the ROVER Latvia application, website, telephone, email, by you providing information about yourself or third parties who, when concluding a distance contract with us, provide information about you as a hike or event participant.

For persons purchasing ROVER Latvia services on behalf of others and submitting personal data of third parties (e.g., family members, friends, etc.) to ROVER Latvia, these persons must be informed that all information related to data processing can be found in this Privacy Notice. The person providing the personal data of others, including children and/or special category personal data, confirms that the person or their lawful representative (one of the parents, guardian) consents to the provision and processing of such data. ROVER Latvia reserves the right to contact the indicated person to verify that such consent has been given.

Recipients of personal data

ROVER Latvia may use personal data processors for personal data processing. In such cases, ROVER Latvia takes necessary measures to ensure that such personal data processors process personal data in accordance with ROVER Latvia instructions and applicable laws and require appropriate security measures.

Your personal data may be provided to other recipients only if there is a legal basis set out in applicable laws.

Personal data retention period

ROVER Latvia stores personal data according to the defined purposes and legal grounds for personal data processing, as long as at least one of these criteria applies:

There is a legal obligation to store the data;
It is necessary to realize legitimate interests;
It is necessary to fulfill contractual obligations;
The data subject’s consent to the respective personal data processing is in force.

Access to your personal data and other data subject rights

To receive information about the personal data that ROVER Latvia processes about the data subject, the data subject has the right to contact ROVER Latvia in accordance with applicable laws and obtain information.
The data subject has the right to request restriction of personal data processing, object to the processing, request correction of personal data, as well as, in certain cases, deletion of personal data, according to the Regulation.
ROVER Latvia communicates with data subjects personally in person (after identification), by post sending registered mail to the address provided by the person, by email replying to the email provided in the signed application (with secure electronic signature), or by writing to the official electronic address of ROVER Latvia.
If any personal data protection breaches are detected or suspected, we encourage you to contact ROVER Latvia. Complaints regarding personal data protection violations may also be submitted to the Data State Inspectorate (legal address: Elijas iela 17, Riga, LV-1050).

Profiling

Profiling is any automated processing of personal data to analyze or predict you. ROVER Latvia does not perform profiling.
