On October 31, 2026 join us for an unforgettable Halloween Night Challenge unlike anything you've experienced before.
On this unique night hike, you'll follow a trail of reflectors using your headlamp while navigating a series of exciting challenges with the Rover+ app, which will guide you along the route and make your nighttime adventure even more immersive.
We've included several challenging sections along the way. You'll make your way through dense forest, leave the trail in places, cross a small bog, and wade through narrow streams. One of the streams can even be crossed by boat.
The route will be brought to life with Halloween-themed decorations. Our team will be waiting along the route with spooky, fun and engaging challenge stations designed to make your experience even more memorable. You'll be able to recharge at our refreshment stations before continuing your hike, while the special Halo wine station will add an extra touch to your forest adventure. At the finish, you'll be welcomed with a delicious campfire-cooked soup.
This will be a night you'll never forget. This adventure is for everyone ready to step outside their comfort zone.

The hike starts at the Decathlon store at Sāga Shopping Centre.
Route distance: 12 km
Estimated duration: 4–5 hours
Programme:
17:30–19:00 – Hike start
17:45–22:30 – Refreshment stations available on all hiking routes, along with fun and engaging challenge stations
21:00–23:00 – Hike finish, campfire-cooked soup, finish area activities, and music
23:30–24:00 – Event closing and prize draw from our partners among participants present
24:00 – End of the event

To complete the hike, you will need:

As wet feet are quite likely, we recommend leaving a change of clothes in your car.
Don't forget to bring your own mug so we can fill it with our delicious Halo wine drink.
This won't be your typical Halloween celebration—it will be a story where you become one of the Halloween heroes in the forests of Riga!
You can take on the adventure solo or join your friends.
